The group is seeking staff input on the concept, which would apply a fixed cost of basic goods and services &#8212; rather than a percentage\u00a0&#8212; as part of staff salary increases. Working group presenter Chad Schonewill said the concept\u00a0is aimed at reducing\u00a0a widening gap between lowest and highest salaries, improving fairness, aligning with the college&#8217;s compensation philosophy and core values, and achieving sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>View the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coloradocollege.edu\/staffcompensation\/\">PowerPoint presentation, video of the session and Staff Council minutes here<\/a>.\u00a0 Staff Council is surveying session attendees to\u00a0see if there is enough interest in the concept.
