Greg Moffet has been appointed to the board of the Taste of Vail. Greg owns Tiga Advertising, Inc., a Vail-based national resort area advertising sales company. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota, and was recently re-elected to the Vail Town Council.

Steven Braddock is the new director of theater of Niagara University, where he is responsible for ensuring that the classical and contemporary performances he selects are compatible with and challenging to his students. Previously, he served as artistic director of the Gifford Family Theatre, a professional theater for young audiences at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y.

William Tyler Norris earned his master’s of divinity degree at Naropa University in Boulder, Colo., in December 2011. He is senior advisor for total health at Kaiser Permanente and board chair of IP3 and Community Commons. • Bruce Aikens will be honored at the April 16 induction ceremony for the Rochester (Minn.) Quarterbacks Club Hall of Fame. A 1978 graduate of Rochester’s John Marshall High School, Aikens went on to Colorado College where in a four-year career he scored 100 goals and 217 points, a mark that still stands as number four on CC’s all-time point list. After college he played two years of minor league hockey, then returned to Colorado Springs and has been there ever since. He has owned his own real estate appraisal business for the last 20 years.

30th Cluster Reunion: October 11-14, 2012!

Fred Galves is a member of the law faculty at Pacific University McGeorge School of Law, and has been a visiting professor at several top law schools in the country. His teaching focuses on technology in the practice of law, and he produced the first law review in the country that used hyper-linked media. Fred graduated from Harvard Law School, and served as a judicial clerk for U.S. District Court Judge John Kane in Denver, and practiced with the law firm of Holland & Hart. He has worked on national banking legislation and has done pro bono work in Chile, focusing on human rights issues.

Ken Sims was named the 2012 Kinkaid School Fellow in Houston, Texas. He is presenting an illustrated lecture in March. • Suzanne Finney is an archaeologist for the historic preservation office in the Republic of Palau. • Gregor Robertson is serving his second term as mayor of Vancouver, B.C. He bested his closest opponent Suzanne Anton, by nearly 20,000 votes. All seven candidates in Gregor’s Vision Vancouver party were elected to city council.

Trish Taylor Duque is a registered nurse at Phoenix Children’s Hospital working on the hematology/oncology floor. Phoenix Children’s is the only hospital in Arizona to offer bone marrow transplants to pediatric/adolescent patients. • Mark Gamble published an iPad app. Mark says, “My app, ‘Tick Bait’s Universe,’ teaches science to kids. It is targeted at children 8 to 13 years of age. TB’s Universe lets kids explore the universe by zooming in and out by powers of 10. With it they can zoom up to explore earth’s atmosphere, our solar system, the Milky Way galaxy, and beyond. They can also zoom down into the microscopic world to explore bacteria, viruses, DNA, atoms, protons, and beyond. The children’s book illustrator Liza Woodruff did all the beautiful illustrations. These illustrations make science accessible and less intimidating to kids.” You can download the app in iTunes.

He is the medical director for his group and almost finished with his first year as medical staff president. He and his wife, Marilyn, who is also a physician, have three children. Joe says he is very busy, but did manage a fly-fishing trip with Tom Smith ’91, and brothers John ’91, and Jim in Louisiana.
