We are excited to offer this special CC internship opportunity at NPR this summer.

Washington Desk Interns play a vital role in political coverage on all platforms. In addition to maintaining our calendar of events, desk interns do research for reporters and producers, build clipboards for radio pieces, build digital story pages, log interviews, and have the opportunity to write for the web.

Responsibilities: 
• Help maintain the political calendar
• Track candidate statements
• Contribute to election briefing books
• Build clipboards, log tape, and write blog posts

PAID Internship will be approximately May 22-August 11, 2017

Interested candidates should be interested in the United States government and politics, have strong research skills, and be knowledgeable about NPR programming. Eligible students must be returning to CC for a minimum of one semester. Full details can be found out SUCCESS Job ID: 19785
