Responsibilities

Over the course of a 12-month program, with 3 month rotations Associates will work with the firm’s leasing professionals, assistant community managers, and community managers. In this capacity, Associates will learn about sales, customer service, budgeting, pricing, financial forecasting, maintenance, and the general management skills necessary to run a multi-million dollar business. Introductions to corporate support functions throughout the 12 month program (e.g., Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Training).

  • Job Location- US-CO-Greenwood Village
  • Work closely with community teams to answer inquiries and manage resident accounts
  • Shadow leasing consultants and learn how to show apartments to prospective residents
  • Shadow assistant community managers and learn how to manage resident accounts
  • Shadow community managers and learn how to manage capital projects, operating plans & forecasting, investor and owner reporting, and employee engagement
  • Handle day-to-day office tasks, including answering phones, preparing for tours and move-in’s, any other leasing responsibilities
  • Provide support with special projects as assigned
  • Assist with apartment management operations by working alongside all on site associates
  • Successfully completes the assigned tasks and projects
  • Travel to communities of various sizes to allow for additional development
  • May be assigned leadership opportunities for tasks and projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess and have interest in the Property Management and or Hospitality and want to work in operations after the 12-month rotation
  • Graduating between December 2018 and June 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hospitality, Business,
  • Operations or other 4-year programs related to operations and/or customer service
  • Willingness to relocate to any Griffis Residential community at the conclusion of the 12 month program (e.g., Colorado, Austin Texas, Seattle Washington, California)
  • Previous work experience in customer service, hospitality and or property management
  • Travel is required to various local Griffis properties; must have reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proven dependability and reliability
