Palesa will spend this summer in New York City, where she’s accepted an internship at Discovery Communications as a Global IT Support Services intern.

“I am excited to gain hands-on experience in one of Discovery’s innovative departments and acquire skills that will help me succeed later in my career.

My advice for those looking for opportunities: Searching for internships requires that you put in the work. It really is a numbers game, but also don’t forget to use the resources that are available to you.”
