#HIRED: Trey Watmore ‘18

After graduating, Trey will begin working as a Medical Assistant at the Center for Plastic Surgery at Castle Rock, where he’ll focus on reconstructive surgery.

“I chose this position due to my interests in medicine and my desire to obtain patient experience before applying to PA school in the near future. Also, working in a private practice affords me the flexibility to learn/do things much more quickly than your average medical assistant.

The practice I will be working in is primarily focused on reconstructive rather than cosmetic procedures. I’m super excited to be able to assist in minor surgeries and to be able to help patients feel like themselves again.

My advice for students continuing their job and internship search: Start early and be persistent! I think having a general idea of what you want to do while having an open mind is key in being able to explore a wide range of possibilities that pertain to your interests.”

Congratulations, Trey!
