This is a one year graduate degree for those who have a bachelor’s degree and are interested in learning about environmental law, but who do not wish to practice law or obtain a law degree.

The MSL program requires completion of 26 semester hours of credit, and can be completed in two semesters or spread over three years. MSL students  take Administrative Law and Environmental Law, and then choose from a wide range of our environmental law courses for the remainder of the credits. Our MSL alums go on to work for legislators,
environmental non-profits, environmental news outlets, governmental agencies, watershed councils, etc.

Tuition scholarships are available based on merit and need.

We will accept applications until August 1st for fall 2019.
