Monigle Verbal Internship

#4510117 Verbal Internship at Monigle Associates

At Monigle we create hard working brands that move people—move them to act, to buy, to join, and to believe. The Verbal team at Monigle is a small, agile group of creative writers, helping brands find their voice, tell their story, and start conversations. What we do is a fusion of ad copywriting, business strategy, and pure poetry—not many agencies do it. We’re looking for a Summer Intern for 2021 to join us. (But here’s the catch, you don’t have to be in college to apply.) Whether you’re an upper-level student passionate about writing or a seasoned professional switching careers, and are looking for a paid internship, you’re in the right place. This is a chance to work with some of the most talented Verbal practitioners in the industry, gain exposure to a growing creative practice, and work on world-class brands. What you’ll do:

  • Take a hands-on role in supporting the Verbal team with everything from research and competitive audits to copyediting and building presentations
  • Work closely with all levels of writers on Verbal identities, creative copywriting, editing and proofreading
  • Collaborate with team members across the agency

What you need to do it:

  • A passion for writing, brand expression and storytelling
  • Strong verbal, organizational and time management skills
  • A solid understanding of composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • The mindset and behaviors of a self-starter (i.e., proactively picking up tasks, working independently, juggling multiple projects, etc.)
  • Curiosity and openness to constructive criticism
  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Advertising (but we’re open to others if you have writing experience)
  • Experience in previous support role a plus

Does this sound like a fit? If so, send us your resume and cover letter. And don’t forget to show us your creativity 🙂
