Closing the Ethnic Achievement Gap and Using Student Data – Postsecondary Forum

The Colorado Department of Higher Education and ACT are hosting a regional  Postsecondary Forum on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the University of Denver. Colorado-Wyoming Postsecondary Forum – Save the Date

The forum’s themes of “Closing the Ethnic Achievement Gap from a Postsecondary Perspective” and “Maximizing Your Usage of Student Data from ACT Testing in Colorado and Wyoming” will provide attendees with usable, practical tools, while recognizing the importance of development and resource sharing. The forum will begin with a plenary session focused on the national and state perspective of ACT’s 2010 report Minding the Gap and continue with breakout sessions that highlight promising institutional practices. Lt. Gov. Joseph Garcia, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, will be a keynote speaker.
