Education Symposium 2012

With funding from Colorado Campus Compact, Colorado College and UCCS are proud to host an Education Symposium dedicated to highly specialized areas of classroom learning and teaching. Many new teachers report a lack of knowledge and experience to handle such issues as the urban education experience, ELL students, behavioral disorders, special education in the traditional classroom and autism. Come join us for a series of workshops by local experts, and earn in-service credit if you work in School District 11.

Science Fair Volunteer Opportunity!

Judges Volunteer Form Info-CSCA

Colorado Springs Charter Academy is hosting its annual Science Fair on Friday, February 24, 2012.  Judges are needed!  WE NEED YOU!  I would like to extend this great opportunity to you to share some of your time with these elementary and middle school future scientists.  Please fill out the attached volunteer form.  You can send it back to me via mail, fax, or as an attachment.

You do not need to be a science whiz to be a judge – just have some knowledge of the scientific method.  A 30-minute training session will be provided on February 24th before judging commences for each of the judging sessions.  You DO have something to share with the students.  Your time, encouragement, and showing you are interested is what they need.

We organize our students by grade level, so you will get to see a wide variety of projects.

Please take a look at your calendar and set aside some time.  CSCA is located on Chelton Rd off of Maizeland.

Thank you for your consideration!  Please do not hesitate to email or call if you have any questions!
