Charlotte Mendoza, Professor of Education, received the 2012 Distinguished Teacher Educator Award at the February meeting of the Association of Teacher Educators. The award recognizes and honors the individual who has “advanced” teacher education in the United States. It is given to one faculty member annually and this is the first time it has been received by someone who teaches in a liberal arts college.

Description: Temporary; approx. 40 hours per week from May 29, 2012 to August 3, 2012. Under general supervision, directs daily activities and supervises children entering first through sixth grades participating in a summer day camp program (FunQuest).
