Students who wish to use primary source materials, such as manuscripts, letters, and photographs, at the Pikes Peak Library District’s Special Collections should contact Heather Jordan,  Archivist, to make an appointment. Students who wish to view the Photo Archive may contact Erinn Barnes the Photo Archivist. She can be reached at or 531-6333 x2255. Special Collections is open Monday through Thursday, 10am to 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday 1pm to 5pm.

Students who wish to use materials in the Special Collections department at Colorado College, Tutt Library (manuscripts, letters, old newspapers, and other primary sources) should contact Jessy Randall, Archivist, 389-6668, or e-mail to make an appointment. Special Collections is open 9am -noon and 1-5pm on weekdays. PPLD librarians are happy to assist individual History Day students conduct research for their projects or arrange for class visits. The teacher, student or group needs to email in advance to make an appointment.
