Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend
It was wonderful to welcome alumni and parents to campus for the 2012 Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend. My highlights included: the induction of the Class of 1962 into the Fifty Year Club; two victories on the ice; LGBTQ Dinner at Stewart House; honoring Barb, Ari, Robin, Henry, Ron and Sylvie at Homecoming Convocation; victories in volleyball, women’s soccer and men’s soccer; S’mores and fireworks; and visiting all of the class reunion parties.
I am grateful to the advancement division, particularly the alumni office, for their leadership in coordinating this weekend’s events. Our colleagues in communications, facilities, student life and Bon Appetit made many important contributions. I am also grateful to all faculty and staff who gave presentations and attended social events.
