What a wonderful weekend! More than 1250 alumni and friends joined us for homecoming. Highlights of the weekend included inducting members of the Class of 1963 into the Fifty Year Club, honoring our Benezet (Jeff Bauer ’69 and Max Power ’63), Worner (Greg Smith ’69), Riley (Professors Marcia Dobson and John Riker) and Spirit of Adventure (Brian Grossman ’88) award winners and dedicating the Frank Flood Memorial Track and Bill “Red” Hay Athletic Performance Suite.
Joined by the Flood Family, Jack Pottle ’77 cut the ribbon on the new Colorado College Frank Flood Memorial Track Friday as part of this weekend’s Homecoming activities. Pottle and his wife Judy generously donated the money for the new track and named it after legendary Colorado College coach and mentor, Frank Flood.
Through the generosity of an anonymous gift, the newly named Bill “Red” Hay Athletic Performance Suite honors the Colorado College hockey legend. Red Hay ’58 and CC hockey Captain Eamonn McDermott cut the ribbon.
