Campus Technology Features Tutt Renovation

Following CC’s win of the NACUBO Innovation Award in August, our newly renovated Tutt Library was featured this week in Campus Technology. The article, “Revamped Colorado College Library Packs a Sustainability Wallop,” highlights the sustainable technology that powers the nation’s largest carbon-neutral, net-zero academic library.

A geothermal energy field, a rooftop solar array, and a live green roof with more than 5,000 plants all contribute to our carbon neutrality. Best of all, we didn’t sacrifice space in meeting these sustainability goals –we’ve more than doubled seating for those Fourth Week study rushes. I’m thrilled to have a library that’s ideal for both the Block Plan and the planet!
