CC Climbing Team Heads to Nationals

Congratulations to CC’s climbing team, who finished third at the regional championships in Denver! Claire Bresnan ’19 and Rin Gentry ’19 were named regional champions in their respective categories.

The team is in its second year, and Katherine Hade ’22, William Abbey ’22, and Emily Barga ’21 double as the coaches, with Zach Levy ’21 serving as captain. The team trains at three different climbing gyms three times a week, designing their workouts to simulate a competition environment.

The CC team is heading to Nationals in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on April 26th. With only a quarter the number of team members compared to their rivals at the University of Colorado-Boulder and Colorado State University, the team has proven their remarkable strength, talent, and endurance. Good luck this weekend! Read the full story here.
