The Year in Photos: CC Celebrates 2019

Fellows from the Summer Music Festival performed music at Cornerstone Arts Mainspace in conjunction with CC Professor Iddo Aharony as well as video artist Jessica Segall, and Pallavi Sriram, and Lewis Keller. The performance was a part of the festival as well as First Fridays Art Walk and was open to the public. The interactive art piece featured the improvised perfornances and music.
Trip leader Grace Ford ’19 explores the canyon to make sure students can be lowered down for an ice climbing lesson. Outdoor Education took students new to ice climbing to the Ouray Ice Park in Ouray, Colorado during a block break trip. The low cost trip is designed for students who are new to ice climbing and might not otherwise be able to try out the sport due to the investment required to take lessons and purchase or rent equipment.

For the 2nd Block Break (October 16-20), Outdoor Education organized a CampOut trip to Moab in Utah .Photo by Patil Khakhamian.
During a tour of the Colorado State Capitol and a visit to the offices of the Department of Higher Education, students in the Economics of Higher Education took a tour of capitol and met Governor Jared Polis.
