Youth Lagoon’s debut album, Year of Hibernation, was released in 2011. It’s been one of my favorite albums since I found out about it, for it beautifully combines Trevor Powers’ dreamy but eery voice with some great synth action. Trevor wrote and recorded the whole album by himself, and plays live shows with a guitarist. The video matches the song perfectly: get ready for a blast of nostalgia.
