As a result, I\u2019ve been \u00a0listening to Grimes\u2019 older music recently. \u201cWeregild\u201d is off of her 2010 release <em>Halfaxa<\/em>. Pieces of <em>Art Angels, <\/em>however<em>,<\/em>\u00a0are reminiscent in this song especially in her sound looping throughout the track, a technique she has kept consistent throughout her work. The song as a whole seems a bit darker than her newer releases.
