Join CC and campus neighbors for the Colorado College Day of Service to clean up Monument Creek Wednesday, Oct. 4. Small groups will work throughout the day on three two-hour shifts: 9-11 a.m.; 1-3 p.m.; and 3:30-5:30 p.m. All groups will meet down by the Van Briggle Building, 1125 Glen Avenue, at the start of their shift to collect materials and proceed to their site. CC will provide gloves and trash bags; remember to bring your own water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Check with your supervisor for approval before registering for a shift at this CC-sponsored event. If approved, this is considered paid time if it falls during the staff member’s regular work schedule; staff members do not need to use their accrued vacation. Get more information and register for your shift by Friday, Sept. 29 by going to www.coloradocollege.edu/COSdayofservice/.
