We have two slots open for the Self-Care Retreat at the CC cabin on August 3rd. If you are interested in participating, please email Matt Cherry (mcherry@coloradocollege.edu).

Faculty and staff are invited to a self-care retreat in the beautiful setting of the CC Cabin. During this day, participants will experience new ways of engaging in everyday life that replenish their energy and nurture their overall well-being. Through activities, discussions, and personal time for relaxing and self-reflection, participants will discover practical ways to reduce the effects of unhealthy stress and harness the energy of healthy stress to foster greater day-to-day enjoyment and fulfillment. Participants will leave with a personalized tool kit equipped with self-care strategies to ensure that the benefits of the retreat last beyond just the day! This program is offered by Human Resources and the Chaplains Office.

Transportation, lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for the outdoors is encouraged. We will leave CC at 8:30 a.m. and leave the CC Cabin at 4:00 p.m.

Facilitators: Elizabeth Perryman and Jill Zastko, Upstream Mindfulness, LLC
