See you tonight (11/2) at the Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration and observance. This event is FREE and open to the public – no tickets required.

5 – 5:30 pm: Traditional tamale dinner in Sacred Grounds, lower level of Shove Chapel (food available first come, first served)

5:30 – 6:15 pm: “¡Que Viva Los Muertos! – Mexican Day of the Dead as Ritual Observance and Mariachi Music in Disney Pixar’s Coco” by Dr. Peter Garcia, California State University Northrigde, Shove Chapel

6:30 – 8:15 pm: Screening of Disney Pixar animated film “Coco,” Shove Chapel

This is a part of a multi-day celebration which include’s Thursday’s Ofrenda and Saturday’s
Mariachi Tigre Concert at 3 pm; both events are in Shove Chapel.
