Heather C. Kissack, Ph.D. has been selected to serve the college as the Director of Human Resources. Heather currently serves as the Director of Human Resources, EEO/AA Officer, and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at the University of Dallas, a private liberal arts institution. Her prior human resources leadership experience also included serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Institutional Development at Hill College. Heather will start in mid-January 2019.

On Wednesday, December 5th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Tutt Library Event Space, the Butler Center will be hosting a LGBTQIA+ Student and Faculty/Staff Dinner. J. Roxanne Prichard, PhD (University of Wisconsin-Madison, Neuroscience, 2004) is a Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. An award-winning researcher, speaker, and author, Dr. Prichard has spent the last thirteen years studying how college students sleep. Kennan Moving Company is a New York City based indie-soul band founded in 2014 by guitarist/singer-songwriter and Colorado College alumnus Oliver Kennan. Kennan is backed by a rotating lineup of renowned New York based session musicians. The group has become a remarkably tight 7-piece contemporary soul band. Influences range from Otis Redding to Arcade Fire, Betty Davis to Radiohead, and Wilson Pickett to Amy Winehouse. Kennan Moving Company is a retro soul machine with one foot planted firmly in the 21st century, a celebration of the past and present.

The concert is Thursday, November 29th, from, 9:30-11:00pm in Hybl Community Center.
