Innovation at CC present Student Led Workshop for block 7: Acrylic Pouring and Fluid Art.

Come learn the art of Acrylic Pouring! We will be experimenting with various techniques to create colorful painting that are completely unique. Each pour will result in different patterns on the canvas – thus no two paintings are the same. The class will emphasize on color and texture but most importantly on imperfections and the process of creating.

Innovation at CC building | 232 Cache La Poudre | 3rd April | 3:00 pm – 5:00pm.

Our Fine Arts Center colleague, Michael Howell, has announced his retirement from the position of Museum Registrar. His last day will be April 2, 2019. To celebrate his next adventure, the FAC Museum is hosting a reception in his honor at the FAC in TASTE on Tuesday April 2, from 4-5:30 PM.

Michael has been an important member of the FAC museum team for many years. During his time as registrar, he has overseen – and lived through – many exciting and challenging exhibitions, projects, and institutional changes. He has been a valued guide for generations of volunteers and interns, and a careful steward of the Museum’s collection. He will be missed.

Hope to see you on Tuesday – all are welcome.
