We are in our benefits open enrollment period from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 24, 2019. The open enrollment booklet and the enrollment forms were emailed to your CC email on April 29, 2019 . The booklet is now 60 pages and we are providing it electronically via email in support of our sustainability efforts (~51,000 pages of printing saved)!

This is your annual opportunity to add/delete/or change any of your benefits. You may also add or drop any eligible dependents during this time frame.
If you would like to keep your current benefits, you don’t need to submit anything for open enrollment, unless you currently participate in the flexible spending account (FSA). The FSA is the only benefit that has to be renewed each year. Everything else stays the same unless you make a change.
Please take time to read through the open enrollment materials so you are familiar with the benefits offered. If you decide to make any changes to your current benefits, please use the appropriate form and return it not later than Friday, May 24, 2019.

You may see the benefits you have now on SSB:
. Go to Sign Into CC from the CC website
. Click on “Banner (SSB)”
. Log-in with your single sign-on username and password
. Choose the Employee Tab at the top of the page
. Click on the “Benefits and Deductions” link
. Click on the “Current Benefit Selection” link, then click the “Select” button
Contact Gina Lujan at 719-389-6104 or elujan@coloradocollege.edu with any questions you may have or if you did not receive the open enrollment packet via email.

Spring is an exciting time of year, especially with graduation just around the corner. Whether you are planning to travel outside of Colorado Springs at the end of the academic year, or have family and friends coming to join in year-end celebrations, travel has an environmental cost. In fact, transportation generates some of the largest shares of greenhouse gas emissions on the planet and plays a pivotal role in climate change. Would you reduce your or your family and friends carbon footprint if you could?

The Office of Sustainability has created a travel calculator that collects voluntary contributions through a carbon offset fund. Basically, this money goes into a fund that invests in projects that remove carbon or prevent greenhouse gas emission from entering the atmosphere, such as various landfill gas destruction projects in Colorado, Utah, and Oklahoma.

Investing made easy – simply input your start and end points and our calculator does the rest! Do your part to combat climate change by offsetting friend, family, and personal travel here: www.coloradocollege.edu/offices/sustainability/resources/travel-offset.html?com
