On Wednesday at Kaffeestunde we’ll start with a critical talk about the history and the development of the popular German festival – coffee and cake as always. 3:30pm!

And then we’ll have our actual Oktoberfest on Friday starting at 6pm in the German House! There will be traditional food and music – we’ll also play some fun games where you can win prizes so be sure not to miss it and bring your friends!

The Common Read Program invites your nominations for the CC Common Read for 2021-2022. The deadline for nominations is November 13, 2019 (the end of Block 3). The Common Read is selected based on a number of criteria, but primarily the committee looks for texts that value diverse cultural perspectives and raise important questions around issues of justice, power, and equity. The Outdoor Education Bike & Ski Co-op is hosting their annual Bike Sale this Friday, October 11th from 1:30-3pm on Autrey (Yampa) Field behind the Outdoor Education Center. Join us for a conversation* as we gather feedback about the college’s utilization and programming at the Baca Campus. We are in the process of writing a management plan and vision for the Baca and need your input! Any and all users (or non-users) of the campus are invited to come.
