The Summer Music Festival’s faculty will perform a concert of contemporary works by Liebermann, Ben-Amots, Crumb, Kellogg, Girtain, and Tsontakis. Composer George Tsontakis will be present to introduce the Colorado premiere of his piece, “Portraits by El Greco.” The concert is on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:30 PM in Packard Hall. Often regarded as the most serious and ambitious composition ever written for harpsichord, the aria and set of 30 variations will be performed.
