Today at 4PM there will be a Question and Answer session about the Ritt Kellogg Memorial Fund’s Education and Expedition Grants at the Outdoor Education Center (931 N. Nevada)

The RKMF funds 12+ day backcountry expeditions for qualified students anywhere in the US or Canada.

The RKMF also provides Education Grants that pays for 75% of wilderness safety courses like AIARE or Swiftwater certification

Thursday, November 30 in El Pomar room 204 at 4:00PM – There will be a general inquiry meeting with head Coach Ted Castaneda for any newcomers interested in participating in Track and Field during the spring of 2018. This meeting will help answer questions about the 2018 season such as time commitments and how to get cleared to participate. This meeting is only for new athletes who have not yet been cleared for Track and Field.

If, after this meeting, you decide to participate in Track and Field for the 2018 season then please attend the General Track and Field informational meeting in room 208 of the El Pomar Sports Center at 5PM. This meeting will include discussion on training for Track (mostly track sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, throwers, vaulters). Also talk on the upcoming season, winter break workouts, some of the meets we are going to and so on. Some of the event coaches will be present.

Creative self-care hosts open-crafting on Friday (12/1) at 4pm in Sacred Grounds. Bring your own knitting, crochet, embroidery, journals, drawing supplies etc.and enjoy snacks as you unwind from first week. Some coloring materials will be provided.

SOSS hosts creative self-care every 1st and 3rd Friday in Sacred Grounds.

The Quad Innovation Parternship and the Colorado Institute for Social Impact are proud to bring you the first ever Impact-A-Thon: a competition for executing social impact. At the event, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from area impact leaders about the value of storytelling in generating support for new initiatives and businesses. You’ll spend focused time with 10 social enterprise founders to learn what they do and how they do it, and then you’ll get a chance to tell their story to a room of community judges for a chance at $500 cash.
