Interested in working with your hands? The Build Team at Innovation at CC will give you a place to create what you’ve always wanted to make. Come build with us! To join, just show up to the first meeting at 6:30pm this Monday, Sept 3rd in the Innovation Center (232 Cache la Poudre) Members of the team design and build objects or machines — which could be anything! Builders either work on an existing project, come up with their own idea and spearhead its creation, or both at once! We will build using 3D and 2/2.5D design software, laser cutters, 3D printers, Arduino-based electronics, hand and power tools. Don’t worry if you find those things intimidating, the point of the Build Team is to learn! The team is open to anyone who is interested, especially those with minimal experience.

Don’t forget to get your applications in to volunteer for the Office of Sustainability!
**Applications are due September 1st @ Midnight**

Volunteering for the Office of Sustainability is a wonderful opportunity for students who are passionate about making Colorado College a more environmentally responsible and sustainable campus. Volunteer duties will vary for each category. Volunteer responsibilities may include event planning, website management, curriculum designation, etc. This is a flexible position with many opportunities for growth and learning!

Food for Thought: Often we hire our paid interns from our existing pool of volunteers, so although you may not be paid this year, the possibility to lead one of these categories as an intern the following year, is pretty high!

This year we have limited volunteer openings in the following categories:
. Community Engagement
. STARS : Sustainable Tracking, Assessment & Reporting System
. Greenhouse Gas Inventory
. Zero Waste
. Marketing
. Buildings & Grounds
. Academics & Curriculum

APPLY NOW by emailing your resume and letter of interest to mrohrbach@coloradocollege.edu

Your letter of interest should include brief answers to the following questions:
. Why are you passionate about sustainability?
. Why do you want to work for the office?
. What projects would you be interested in pursuing to make Colorado college a more sustainable campus?
. Include your top three categories for which you want to volunteer for.

Check out our website more information. If you have questions about our volunteer positions, email mrohrbach@coloradocollege.edu.
