Taught by Dr. Jordan Travis Radke and Dr. Anthony C. Siracusa.

In partnership with Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), and CC’s journalism minor, students will examine the theory and practice of engaged journalism through an experiential course project around “Guns in Schools.”

Course content will cover concepts, principles, and strategies for engaging communities as active participants in, rather than subjects of, journalism that produces publicly relevant and actionable knowledge.

Please direct questions to jradke@coloradocollege.edu or asiracusa@coloradocollege.edu.

Join us on Thursday, October 4th at 3pm for an afternoon of coloring mandalas in Sacred Grounds. Come and make your own intricate designs and learn more about the meditative practice as it relates to centering of self, impermanence, and artistic expression.

We’ll be hosting this event in anticipation of the Great Compassion Mandala Tour visiting the Fine Arts Center from October 8th-12th, where Buddhist monks will be making a sand mandala during that time. Sponsored by the Chaplains’ Office. Contact Kholbrook@coloradocollege.edu for more information.
