Meet Uli Nasibova ’06, a former Wall Street research and investment manager turned food entrepreneur, for the first Stratton Series event of the year!

Uli left her successful career at AllianceBernstein to open a small-batch gelato shop in the heart of Los Angeles in 2014. Several years later, Gelateria Uli has two locations and has been named “Best Gelato” by the Los Angeles Magazine. In this talk, Uli will speak about her experience being a food entrepreneur in Los Angles and how the unique structure of the Block Plan prepared her to handle the challenges of opening a business in a big city.
