On March 30th, 2019 at 7pm in the Kathryn Mohrman Theatre Colorado College and its Africana Intellectual Project will have the pleasure of welcoming hip-hop legend Talib Kweli for a conversation followed by a concert. This is the inaugural event in the AIP’s series entitled “Black Art(s): Radical Potentialities”.

The ambition of the series is to broaden the traditional definition of “art” and use that expanded territory to examine the potential for various practices to serve as components of a project of radical political, social, and cultural change and exchange.

Talib Kweli is a renowned practitioner of the art of hip-hop and is known for pushing the boundaries of his practice beyond the music industry. Because of this, he is an ideal choice for the AIP’s first event.

Tickets are available in the Worner Center.
