This year, we celebrated the Journalism Institute’s inaugural year by bringing–or helping to bring–a series of powerful speakers to campus who added substantively to the campus conversation, including Ta-Nehisi Coates, Shaun King, Barry Lopez, Talib Kweli (with the Africana Intellectual Project), Roxane Gay (with English), and Stuart Stevens. These events would not have been a success without your interest and support.

In an effort to continue to host events that are relevant and engaging next year, we invite you to submit your speaker suggestions and recommendations by emailing me at jyim@coloradocollege.edu. Only you can help us bring the best speakers to Colorado College!
