Professor Manya Whitaker is teaching “Ecologies of Development and Learning in Early Childhood” in Block 3. This is a new course for students *not* necessarily interested in teaching or education, but who want to learn more about the social (e.g., family, peers, school), political (e.g., laws, war), economic, psychological (e.g., trauma), biological (e.g., food access), and environmental (e.g., water, noise, and air pollution) influences on development in early childhood (ages 2-7). No prereqs, 2 field trips, no costs. Email Dr. Whitaker with questions.
