You are welcome to enjoy free coffee and cake at Kaffeeklatsch on Wednesday 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the German House. This week, there will be a presentation about German culture in southern Brazil. Two CC students went with a Venture Grant to a German city and town and interviewed 15 Brazilians with German heritage. It is stunning how much these people kept the German language, values and culture. There will be many interesting, touching and fascinating stories!

Are you a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.7 (A-) or higher? You might be eligible for election to Phi Beta Kappa, one of the highest honors the College bestows on graduates. But you need to apply to graduate if you hope to be considered. Get on Banner soon and apply, if you have not already! Even if you are not in the A- range – apply to graduate. Many awards and honors are given to seniors, but if you are not in the pool of graduating seniors, you won’t be considered.
