Have you been counting down the days until the new Tutt Library opens for business? Well, you will have to wait a bit longer than expected. Adjust your calendars accordingly:

The new building is now scheduled to open Monday, June 26.

To prepare for the move and to transfer materials, Special Collections will be CLOSED June 14-July 5.

Books will begin moving June 16. All staff currently working in Tutt South will move into their offices in the new space Thursday, June 22.

Continue to use the red “Request” button in the TIGER catalog to request library materials. You can pick up requested books at the Circulation Desk in Tutt South until June 23.

All library services will be available in the new building beginning Monday, June 26, in time for the start of Block B.

Demolition of Tutt South begins June 28.

The “soft opening” event initially scheduled for Monday, June 19, is canceled. Stay tuned for more information about opening festivities later this summer.
