Prior to coming to Colorado College, I was a NASA postdoctoral research scientist. I worked on the Mars Exploration Rover Science team, with Martian meteorites, and with Apollo lunar samples, as well as working on magmatism in the southwest United States. I did my dissertation work in the Trans-Pecos Magmatic Province, west Texas, and I have active research in the Mount Taylor Volcanic Field, New Mexico. I plan to continue working on meteorite projects and to expand my terrestrial studies to other provinces in the American West.
