The photo of two sandhill cranes, which appears in the January-February issue of the magazine, was taken at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, and earned Weaver an honorable mention. Weaver, whose photos have appeared on CC\u2019s State of the Rockies Report Card and posters, says the photo, which was taken about on a cold January morning last year, captures what he calls the yin\/yang of the crane\u2019s flight patterns.
