Each faculty member was chosen based on exemplary teaching and scholarship. They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marc Snyder, professor of biology, is the Thomas M. McKee Professor in the Natural Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Paul Myrow, professor of geology, was appointed the Verner Z. Reed Professor in Natural Sciences.<\/li>\n<li>Anne Hyde, professor of history, was awarded the William R.
