{"id":573,"date":"2010-05-20T14:39:57","date_gmt":"2010-05-20T21:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.coloradocollege.edu\/atb\/?p=573"},"modified":"2010-05-20T14:39:57","modified_gmt":"2010-05-20T21:39:57","slug":"board-of-trustees-meeting-actions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.coloradocollege.edu\/atb\/2010\/05\/20\/board-of-trustees-meeting-actions\/","title":{"rendered":"Board of Trustees Meeting Actions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CC Board of Trustees met May 13-15 on campus and conducted the following business.<br \/>\nVoted to approve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Isabel Werner \u201908 as the first \u201cyoung alumni trustee.\u201d\u00a0 She will serve a non-renewable two-year term.<\/li>\n<li>Renewal of terms for trustees Neal Baer, John Chalik, Eben Moulton, Adam Press, Jane Rawlings, Bob Selig, Mike Slade, and Hans Utsch.<\/li>\n<li>2010-11 trustee committee assignment changes.<\/li>\n<li>Professor Emeritus status for Mike Hoffman and John Watkins.<\/li>\n<li>Six tenure-track hires: Daniel Arroyo-Rodriguez (Spanish), Andrea Bruder (Mathematics and Computer Science), Mona El-Sherif (Arabic), Maroula Khraiche (Economics and Business), Ryan Platt (Drama and Dance), and Carrie Ruiz (Spanish).<\/li>\n<li>Self-funded health, legal, and scholarship reserves as Board-designated funds.<\/li>\n<li>The final phase of Cossitt Hall renovations, not to exceed $503,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Board dined with members of the Faculty Executive Committee and Staff Council and recognized outgoing trustees Meg Mathies \u201957 and Ed Robson \u201954.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CC Board of Trustees met May 13-15 on campus and conducted the following business.
