Four first-year students, Amelia Eskenazi<\/b> \u201919<\/b>, Joann Bandales \u201919,<\/b> Padah Vang<\/b> \u201919<\/b>, and David Gonzalez Salgado \u201919<\/b>, have created the \u201cHumans of Colorado College\u201d Facebook page. Modeled after the \u201cHumans of New York\u201d project, the page seeks to tell stories that others aren\u2019t aware of, letting students know it\u2019s OK to be vulnerable and helping to promote empathy, said co-founder Vang. \u201cI think it\u2019s become a\u00a0rare space of authenticity and a community of support.\u00a0I find myself looking forward to the stories everyday because\u00a0in the bustle and stress of my day, it\u2019s a reminder that our world is full of people with love, triumph, sadness, and hardship.\u00a0It gives me some hope and it makes me feel connected to our campus,\u201d said Esther Chan \u201916, <\/b>who helped get the project going.<\/p>\n
