\"CC-BUL-APRIL2016-07-NewsWishWeWereHere\"<\/a>CC\u2019s NPR-member station KRCC received the Colorado Broadcasters Association Award for best mini-documentary or series for \u201cEpisode 10: After the Evangelical Vatican\u201d in KRCC\u2019s \u201cWish We Were Here\u201d series, co-produced by Noel Black and Jake Brownell \u201912<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The series received national and international play in recent months. In December, WBEZ in Chicago aired Episode 6: \u201cAnchor Dreams \u2013 the Passion of Scoop Nemeth.\u201d In March, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation\u2019s CBC Podcast Playlist included a portion of Episode 8: \u201cCSPD Black \u2013 The True Story of Colorado Springs\u2019 First African-American Detective.\u201d Alumni may be interested to hear a gripping story that includes Dan Crossey \u201974 <\/strong>and Nate Porter \u201990<\/strong>, in Episode 12: \u201cAvalanche on America\u2019s Mountain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colorado College also garnered four awards \u2013 one gold and three silver \u2013 for print publications at the recent 2016 American Advertising Federation ceremony. Winning publications included the August 2015 edition of the Bulletin <\/em>(\u201cThe Gardens of Colorado College\u201d), the 2014-15 Annual Report, and brochures created for the college\u2019s scholarship and library giving campaigns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
