She lives in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alison Dunlap <\/strong>finished third in the 40\u201349 age division of the State Games of America mountain bike race on the U.S. Air Force Academy\u2019s Falcon Trail in August. Her husband, Greg Frozley, a professional mountain biker, came in first. Alison won the 2001 World Mountain Bike Championship and now operates Alison Dunlap Adventure Camps and races in cyclocross events for Luna.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kristie Kauerz <\/strong>moved to Boston, where she has accepted a position at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She will be working with the school\u2019s preschool through third grade efforts. Kristie says she is \u201cthrilled to have this opportunity to expand and extend my work with the widespread and growing network of states, school districts, and communities.\u201d <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>David Rippon <\/strong>celebrated his 40th birthday by completing the New York City Triathlon in July. He completed the one\u00admile swim in the Hudson River, a 27\u00admile bike ride from Manhattan to the Bronx, and a 10K run in Central Park in two hours and 43 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erik Schroeder <\/strong>received his M.B.A. from Regis  University in May 2008. He is a registered investment advisor with Strategic Financial Partners in Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tracy Stegall <\/strong>is the principal at Birch Elementary School in Broomfield, Colo. In July, she presented with colleagues at the Colorado Association for School Executives. He holds a master\u2019s degree in theological studies from Harvard University and a master\u2019s degree in sociology from Boston College. He lived in Florence, Italy, where he studied Baroque and Renaissance art and sculpture, and later moved to London to complete his thematic studies in modern and contemporary art and architecture. His expertise is in art and religion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ken Whiteman <\/strong>is the founder and CEO of GreenVentures, Inc., a start\u00adup incubator dedicated to building companies that accelerate the adoption and use of green technology based in Hood River, Ore. Fellman <\/strong>serves as rabbi at Temple Concord in Syracuse, N.Y. He is the congregation\u2019s fifth rabbi in the past 125 years. At CC, he was the founder of Hillel in 1994. After graduating, he earned his master\u2019s degree from Hebrew Union College\u00adJewish Institute of Religion and was ordained in 2005. He was previously associate rabbi at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, N.J.<\/p>\n<p>The story of a couple\u2019s romance was featured in <em>The New York Times <\/em>in June. Ted Skala hoped to impress his girlfriend, <strong>Erika Fredell <\/strong>with a diamond he dug up in the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. His plan fell through, but Ted still won the heart of Erika, whom he had known for 17 years. The couple was married on June 20 at St. Patrick\u2019s Old Cathedral in New York.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brian Keeley <\/strong>has been appointed to the King County Civil Service Commission in Seattle. The panel hears disciplinary appeals involving employees in the King County Sheriff\u2019s Office. Brian will serve a four\u00adyear term, providing advice, counseling, and litigation services in the areas of employment and employee benefits and issues. He is a senior associate at Bullivant Houser Bailey PC, a West Coast complex business litigation law firm.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"tigerwire_year\">\u201997<\/h4>\n<p>The Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP hired <strong>Chad T. Nitta <\/strong>to join its litigation practice group. His practice focuses on complex business litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, unfair competition, breach of license, and misappropriation of trade secrets.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"tigerwire_year\">\u201999<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Jon Austin<\/strong> was named assistant coach of the Minnesota State University women\u2019s hockey team. Jon played four years as a forward for the CC Tigers, where he collected 25 goals and 44 assists for 69 points in 142 career games. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA national championship game when he was a freshman. Jon spent three years playing professionally before he started coaching.<\/p>\n<p>Attending the Oct. 4, 2008, wedding of <strong>Caroline Finnerty <\/strong>and Trevor Benjamin Capon in Osterville, Mass., were <strong>Teresa Robinson, Kristen Leibensperger, Benjamin Zeman, Alison Henry, Joseph Custodio \u201998, Sarah Newton Worden \u201900<\/strong>, and <strong>Nathaniel Worden \u201900. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Guergana Ivanova <\/strong>is program manager at Electronics for Imaging in Foster City, Calif.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brenda Park <\/strong>has graduated with the degree of doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abigail Washburn,<\/strong> a noted folk singer, helped create multimedia Web content to raise awareness and money for the Sichuan, China, earthquake relief effort. On May 12, 2008, an earthquake shook Sichuan, leaving more than 88,000 people dead, hundreds of thousands missing and more than five million people homeless. Abigail was in Nashville when the earthquake hit, but in November 2008, she was teaching traditional American music at Sichuan  University. \u201cDuring my time there, I hung out with an old friend, Peter Goff, who leads the Sichuan Quake Relief organization,\u201d she says. Peter took Abigail with him to six relocation schools to play music for the students while volunteers set up new libraries. \u201cAfter I would perform for the kids, they wanted to share their songs and stories of loss and longing,\u201d Abigail says. The resulting project includes a 10\u00adminute documentary and photo galleries and tells the story of making the music.
