Gibbs has been a producer, general manager, and company manager for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and international productions for more than 40 years. Her producing credits include \u201cPeter and the Starcatcher\u201d (nine Tony nominations and five Tony Awards), \u201cCome From Away\u201d (Tony nomination), \u201cBat Boy: The Musical\u201d (Lortel Best Musical Award), \u201cFun Home\u201d (Tony Best Musical Award), and many others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Also being recognized at the graduation ceremony are CC\u2019s 2018 honorary degree recipients: <b>David Buck \u201983<\/b> M.D., M.P.H., professor at Baylor College of Medicine\u2019s Department of Family and Community Medicine, and an adjunct professor at University of Texas School of Public Health and Rice University\u2019s Department of Sociology; <b>Freida Ekotto \u201986<\/b>, chair of the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies and professor of comparative literature at the University of Michigan; and <b>Peggy Fleming Jenkins \u201970<\/b>, Olympic and World champion figure skater.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tony Award-winning producer Nancy Nagel Gibbs \u201971 will deliver the Commencement address at Colorado College\u2019s Commencement ceremony at 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 21 on Armstrong Quad.
