{"id":14204,"date":"2019-05-07T16:13:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T22:13:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.coloradocollege.edu\/bulletin\/?p=14204"},"modified":"2019-05-07T16:13:03","modified_gmt":"2019-05-07T22:13:03","slug":"robson-arena-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.coloradocollege.edu\/bulletin\/2019\/05\/robson-arena-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Robson Arena Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At its February meeting, the CC Board of Trustees approved a change to the Campus Master Plan that updates the Robson site plan and provides additional parking for the campus community and visitors.\u00a0The revised plan situates the arena at the north end of the block near Cache La Poudre and Tejon streets, and provides for a parking garage for 300-350 vehicles south of the arena.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In addition to providing a new home for CC\u2019s Division I hockey team, and club and intramural ice sports, the arena will include academic and co-curricular spaces and uses, as well as host national governing body and other community events. This also means the college will now have a building in which the entire campus community can gather for special events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Other changes to the Campus Master Plan include relocating the Burghart Tennis Courts to accommodate a lot with 100 parking spaces to the west of El Pomar Sports Center.
