Are you looking to get more involved with Colorado College? Want to meet other alumni and supporters in your city? We have been listening to your requests, and we\u2019ve got big plans for new gathering opportunities, in the communities listed and in a city near you.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Table of Eight
\n<\/strong>An opportunity to host a small dinner \u2014 as simple as salad and soup \u2014 in your home with multiple generations of alumni. You can provide the guest list or we will send an invitation to those in your area. This event is a chance to meet, nosh, and mingle.
\nNote: <\/strong>When possible, we will let you know when a professor is in town and may be able to join you for your meal.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Shared Interest Groups
\n<\/strong>An opportunity for alumni looking to expand their personal and professional networks to connect virtually. We\u2019ll help connect you through an online survey. Join us on Tiger Link<\/a> to find your group.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Books on the \u2026 Series
\n<\/strong>\u201cBooks on the Beach\u201d has been a signature alumni event organized by Bay-area CC champions Meryl and\u00a0Bob Selig \u201961<\/strong>,\u00a0John Chalik \u201967<\/strong>, Rob Adkisson \u201992,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Alison Henry \u201999.\u00a0<\/strong>The weekend overnight gathering features a professor, conversations around a topic, and time to mingle with a group of alumni. This long-standing tradition\u00a0has made a lasting impression on not only those who attend, but also on other alumni across the country. For that reason, the Office of Alumni and Family Relations will be expanding the concept from the beach to a cross-country series of \u201cBooks on the … [Insert Other Locations Here].\u201d<\/p>\n

And more \u2026 <\/strong>including play dates in the park for alumni and their young children; educational events featuring CC professors; and the \u201cOn the Block\u201d podcast, to keep you updated on campus lectures, happenings, and more.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t want to wait, there are plenty of ways to get involved right now:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Welcome Parties:<\/strong> Gather to welcome new students from your area to CC.
\n\u2022 Welcome to Your City:<\/strong> Gather in your area to welcome new CC grads to their new home, and be a resource, guide, and friend to a recent
\n\u2022 \u201cParty in a Box<\/a>\u201d: <\/strong>Have an idea for an event? Getting a group of your CC alumni friends together for a special celebration or watch party? Let us know. We\u2019ll send a box of CC goodies to you. In return, just let us know who was there and send us a group photo.<\/p>\n
