Michael Sawyer<\/p><\/div>\n

Michael Sawyer, assistant professor in\u00a0Colorado College\u2019s\u00a0Race, Ethnicity, & Migration Studies\u00a0program and\u00a0English Department, participated in Harvard Book Store\u2019s virtual event series in June. He and Flores Forbes, associate professor of urban planning at Columbia\u2019s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, discussed Sawyer\u2019s recently published\u00a0\u201cBlack Minded: The Political Philosophy of Malcolm X.\u201d Sawyer, the director of the\u00a0Africana Intellectual Project\u00a0at Colorado College, is a political philosopher with a focus on Blackness in particular.
