<\/a>If you traveled through Denver International Airport this summer via Terminal A, you might have seen a familiar photo.<\/p>\n

The image that appears on the April issue of the Bulletin <\/em>and this year\u2019s State of the Rockies Report Card and poster was on display at DIA from May to July.<\/p>\n

The cover of the April issue of the Bulletin<\/em>, featuring a herd of grazing bison in Colorado\u2019s San Luis Valley with the Crestone Peaks in the background,\u00a0also was mentioned as a standout by the University Magazine Group, which provides news and observations on university magazines across the country.<\/p>\n

The cover photo by Steve Weaver, CC\u2019s technical director of geology, prompted several Bulletin<\/em> readers to call or write, requesting information on the poster. Following the photo\u2019s DIA debut, it moved to the Colorado State Capitol in Denver where it will be on exhibit for three months. Earlier this year the image also was hanging in the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Colo., as part of the Artists\u2019 Association of Northern Colorado (AANC)\u00a019th National Art Exhibition and Sale.\u00a0It was one of 130 works selected from 800 entries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
