David was entered into the giveaway for logging on and using OurCC, Colorado College\u2019s community for alumni and parents \u2014 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ourcc.coloradocollege.edu\">ourcc.coloradocollege.edu<\/a><\/strong>. There were more than 58,000 qualified entries.<\/p>\n<h3><strong> <\/strong>\u201953<\/h3>\n<p>A telethon in Woburn, Mass., is named for <strong>Don Manzelli<\/strong>, who died on June 16, 2010.\u00a0The Council of Social Concern\u2019s Don Manzelli Memorial Telethon at Woburn High School honors the memory of Don, who was actively involved in the council\u2019s activities until his death. Don served in the U.S. Army, and then attended Brown University and CC. Over the years, he created countless structures around Massachusetts, winning many awards and accolades. In his later years, he worked tirelessly for many charities, including The North Suburban YMCA, The Woburn Public Library, and the Council of Social Concern.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>\u201957<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Robert Hendee<\/strong> continues to volunteer on numerous boards, all of which aim to protect children and prevent child abuse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>\u201958<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Keith Argow <\/strong>is national board chairman and CEO for the Forest Fire Lookout Association. He reported a record year for the group. Of the 8,000 fire lookouts that once stood across the country, only 2,000 remain, and just 800 are active. FFLA volunteers staff 200 of those, and another 200 are being restored by FFLA and returned to active service or being made available for cabin rentals. The FFLA is active in all 50 states.<\/p>\n<h3><strong> <\/strong>\u201959<strong> <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><strong>Daniel Crecelius<\/strong> was the only American scholar invited to present a researched paper at an international conference held in Cairo, Egypt, Nov. 27\u201330, 2010, to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the National Library and Archives of Egypt.
