She worked for the National Society for Crippled Children and Adults and had a career in public health. Bob was a noted building contractor, having key roles in the building of the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Garden of the Gods Club. He was the goalie on the first Tiger hockey team and remained an avid CC hockey alumnus throughout his life. Bob was active in the Fifty Year Club, and was a member of both the Tiger Pride Club and the Barnes Society. Survivors include his children, Wendy and Kent, and three grandchildren. She earned a master\u2019s degree in music from CC and founded and directed the Pioneer Valley Symphony Chorus. Her husband, Chaloner, preceded her in death. She was a retired secretary for the Department of Energy, Inspector General.
